compression pant

looking at hex pad umpire pant by McDavid, need to replace current compression pants. I prefer the ones with a cup holder. Any favorites?

I own a pair of these. Be sure not to get them too large. I bought a size too large and I have to fold up the pant legs because they are about 6 inches too long. They run a little large in size.

In the real world of clothing, I wear 33-34. My Pos + pants are 36. I was thinking about getting M (30-32)? If I get large (34-36) I am afraid they won't be snug. What do you think??

McDavid hDC are my favorites. I have shorts and longs. I usually wear the shorts but break out the longs for really hot days.

DG,
when you wear your shorts how do you cover your legs for your leg guards? I always wear longs simply because I like to have something under my leg guards.

Many wear knee socks or over-the-knee socks to go along with the shorts. They keep the guards off the legs. I have always worn either Long Johns or compression pants (when they first became available).

I have always used some type of compression pant also. I told the wife last night that for Christmas I need a pair of these pants.

I switched to the Hex Padded compression pants this season, and love them. They have saved me several times.

I too have found that they run 1 size larger compared to the standard Compression pants.

I am considering adding more long sleeve shirts, and some Forearm Guards. That is the last sensitive area left unprotected.

Better yet, maybe I could get one of those Robot looking super deep diving suits in black !

Wearing two pair of socks is not the best thing for your feet. They can limit circulation, and actually cause fatigue, especially if both pair of socks are thick.

I didn't advocate wearing both kinds of socks together. I said "or."

Knee high socks. My favorites are GD knee highs. I probably would be better to just always use the longs, in warm weather. I know a lot of folks who do. If the weather is cold I use long underwear with a regular jock over the longs.

Talking Asked last Jan.

Do we have to discuss whether briefs with a cup trap will replace the baseball jock strap any time soon?
