LOL! Everyone knows that Nestor wore a toga (plus armor while on the Trojan plains).

Well now, seeing as how Logo Athletic was not even on the drawing board during Nestor's career, I'm guessing that Sal is pulling Dan's leg again.

I hope you know Sal your pants wont sell. who wants to buy authentic umpire pants that you wont tell whos they were. Their names were listed on the MLB site, so whats so private about it? Also did you just happen to "come across" those National League umpire shirts you were selling too on ebay. :)

They are for wearing to look super-cool on the ball field, not to hang on your bedroom wall inside a glass frame.

Dan, Dan, Dan.....

I explained this once. If I were a size 39 waist, I'd jump all over these pants, regardless of who they once belonged to. They are pants which: A) were not worn out, since they are constantly being replaced with new ones, and B) were actually worn in major league baseball games. That is what the attraction is to them, not who used to own them. A MLB umpire used to wear them. Isn't that enough for you?

I've wondered if anyone understood your reference. Maybe if you add the baseball connection of a homer?

If only this forum had a shout box.............

I just know I'll be sorry for asking, but what is a shout box?

BigUmp56 Sun Oct 08, 2006 08:33am

I'm glad you asked. A shout box is a small feature of a phpbb message board that allows registered members of a given forum to quickly type in a few words of wit and wisdom that will be displayed on the homepage. You have to have at least some semblance of a sense of humor, and not be one to take yourself seriously to enjoy one though.
