Nah, this teaser will just send the JSB scurrying off to Google the waist-sizes of every MLB umpire so they can speculate. ;) |

The attraction of the pants is that they are authentic MLB pants. That the name is embroidered on the inside tag is not what is important. That only goes to validate that they are authentic. I does not (or at least should not) matter who's pants they were. They are for wearing to look super-cool on the ball field, not to hang on your bedroom wall inside a glass frame. |

I hope you know Sal your pants wont sell. who wants to buy authentic umpire pants that you wont tell whos they were. Their names were listed on the MLB site, so whats so private about it? Also did you just happen to "come across" those National League umpire shirts you were selling too on ebay. :)

I explained this once. If I were a size 39 waist, I'd jump all over these pants, regardless of who they once belonged to. They are pants which: A) were not worn out, since they are constantly being replaced with new ones, and B) were actually worn in major league baseball games. That is what the attraction is to them, not who used to own them. A MLB umpire used to wear them. Isn't that enough for you? |

I'm glad you asked. A shout box is a small feature of a phpbb message board that allows registered members of a given forum to quickly type in a few words of wit and wisdom that will be displayed on the homepage. You have to have at least some semblance of a sense of humor, and not be one to take yourself seriously to enjoy one though.

Or were you talking about "The Simpsons"? |
I think I'm about to be ill-iad.

I don't know why anyone would be interested in having a used pair of pants once belonging to a MLB umpire.
|
Can I get an amen from the bobbleheads?
(apologies to Rich :D) |

There are a lot of MLB umpire groopies here. They memorize their numbers, speculate on which minor league umpire will get the call, have fanasty umpire leagues, etc. I guess the next logical step would be to wear their used pants. Either that or staking out there house, rooting through their garbage, and finding out what they had for breakfast before a playoff game. To each his own, I guess. |
:D
Sal, did you already go through the pockets? JJ |
