thanks. i thought so.
what happened in this case was that the ump told the coach that his pitcher was gone from the game. the coach freaked and threatened to protest. the opposing team, looking to avoid the hassle of a protest convinced the ump to allow the pitcher to play CF. ump agreed to same. and everybody was happy. but i don't think it was the right thing to do. even if both teams agreed to it.
