Hey Guys...I was sent here by another member. My name is Dan, im 15. From Milton, Pa. I umpire in PA LL District 13. This is my first year of umpiring, and ive gotten allot of experience early. Did about 35 reg. season games on a 2 man crew, both from behind the plate and the bases. Im currently doin 9-10 All stars and I love it. Im one of the fortnuate younsters out there...I got all the gear and uniforms i need. Hope to do more games next season after this.

Welcome to the forum, and welcome to umpiring.
I suggest you spend some time reading posts before you post yourself. Figure out who to listen too, who to ignore, what information we need to answer a question, and what our abbreviations are. Looking forward to your posts.

Welcome, Dan. It's great to see younger umpires stepping up to learn this avocation. You'll find the most grizzled of veterans here who aren't afraid to ruffle a few feathers when giving advice. Just remember that it's always intended to further the art of officiating and accept it in that spirit.
