Thanks- this is what i was asking.

So you're saying a pitcher can leave and return to the mound every inning if he wishes as long as he stays in the lineup?

Also, if the coach violates the charged conference rule, the pitcher is done pitching for the day, correct?

Yes -- and under strict OBR, the pitcher must be removed from the game on the second visit. (Most non-pro leagues would allow the pitcher to remain in the game at another position.)
