Bill Welke's CP
Does anybody know what brand of chest protector MLB umpire Bill Welke uses? It is grey in color with a circular decal that has a green ring on the outside edge. I have never seen anything like it. It almost looks like a Riddell Power, but the decal is wrong. If anyone knows, I would like to know.

A lot of guys wear decals on their protectors that are not from the manufacturer. I would guess its a Power.

The more I looked at Bill Welke's protector, the more I have a feeling it is an old Riddell Power with his own decal or sticker on it. The closed-cell padding and the front look exactly like the one I had.

I found this believing it to be for sale but turns out the guy is looking for replacement parts for his. I could just kick myself in the a$$ (if I had that kind of flexibility) for ever selling mine.
