In all my years working FED games I have never received a FED Umpires Manual. I have only received the rule and case books. And to my recollection, FED mechanics were never even discussed, with the exception of the DDB mechanic. PBUC mechanics were the norm, with a personal preference option of B or C with R1 and R3.

I didn't realize that those of us in the Land of Lincoln used different mechanics. I guess I should have said IHSA maechanics call for us to be in B instead of C unless runners on 2 only or 1 and 2.
