I think I deciphered this upon a fourth reading. Drumber was BU. I think.

By the way... its "winning the game by one RUN" not "winning the game by one POINT" This is baseball.

I know and yes i was the Base Umpire. I should have said he decided to put his foot down.

LMan Mon Jun 20, 2005 03:05pm

You shouldn't have said anything at all. On this or any other umpiring forum, at least.

No thanks are necessary.

Wtf I want to post here because there is a lot of good umpires and good situations to talk about. Why are you like just dont post ? Is it that you think my story is bogus? Is it that you are also like get a grammer book? Please tell, me why shouldn't I post here ?

mcrowder Mon Jun 20, 2005 04:34pm

Well, dumbbumb, the post does seem a little outrageous. Why would the CF bean his own pitcher?

But the main thing is that most of your posts seem to be extremely hard to read. Look at everyone else's posts. You seem to be of the mindset of the 14-year old AOL chatroom crowd that thinks it's ok to ramble on with no sense of grammAr, punctuation, or spelling. It's very annoying, and just plain lazy. Sounds like you can barely speak English, and type exactly like you talk. Seems it's ok for you to be lazy, to the detriment of everyone else.

I tried to be polite about this first time around. But you didn't listen. So now... not so polite. Learn to type, learn to spell, and buy some punctuation and capital letters (IE - make your post READABLE) if you want the rest of us to respond.

(Oh, ... and stop calling people Dude.)

A very fine post sir, yet it will fall on deaf ears (err, eyes . . . well you get my point).

Some of us waste bandwidth at times -- dumbanddumber just wastes it all the time, Dude.

Dude I know proper gramer, I just was in a hurry so I didn't bother. I mean i wrote all of that in about three minutes so I could get to my uncle's Fathers Day party.

Your uncle's your father? That would make your sister your cousin, not just your girlfriend. This all makes your posts much more understandable.

Do you play the banjo?

Thats funny stuff, Dude!!!

w_sohl Mon Jun 20, 2005 08:30pm

drumbum,

If you want to be taken seriously you have to write like you are serious. I reads like a story that your drunk buddy is telling you. As they said, it was very hard on the eys and just seemed to ramble, not to mention that it is pretty unbelievable. Not saying it didn't happen, just that it is hard to believe that it did.

Delightful that this is the *edited* version. At least the poor apostrophe received one correct use.

Garth, I'm still working on how his father could be his uncle. The father would have to be his own brother.... hm .... best I can come up with is how his father could be his brother.

It's really easy. If his father married his (the father's) sister than he would be both his father and his uncle since he is his mother's brother. Equally, his mother would also be his aunt. And his girlfriend would be his sister and his first cousin, once removed. His children would be toothless banjo pickin' nephews and nieces as well as sons and daughters.

See?
