R2 and R3, one out. Batter hits a chopper to third baseman. 3B goes to throw home, but the batter hit the catcher in the chest with the bat. catcher goes to his knees and 3B is forced to throw to first. I was by myself in this game and did not see the batter actually throw the bat. What is the call??

that's what I had (an out a 1st), but the coach was argued, until he ejected himself, that it was interference on the batter. I just wanted to double check myself.

ajj,

I think were all confused as to what your really asking because, like you have stated, we didn't see any of this either.

However, if you believe that the batter created interference at the plate then he was out and the runners returned. But if you didn't see any of this, well once again, neither did we.??????????????????????
