for those of you who have the Game Show Network on your cable set up, try and record GSN at 4:30 pm ET today....that is when run old episodes of "Family Feud"..and I JUST discovered they have been running a week of...."Umpires vs. Players"!! MLB umps vs a group of players...thi shas to be fromsometime in 1988,as th eumps all have the 'ABG' that they wore on their sleeves after A. Bartlett Giamatti passed away. The umps involved:
Eric Gregg the Hershbeck brothers Ken Kaiser Dan Morrison and BTW this is the later version of FF with Ray Combs not Dickie Dawson....

That has been on the whole week, there are 5 different episodes that are being shown. I saw it on Tuesday, and a funny moment occured. The umpires were playing fast money, and Combs asked one of the Hershbecks to name a sport without an official time keeper. Of course Hershbeck said baseball. When he had finished with all the questions, Combs asked him when the last time he read the rule book was, and Hershbeck replied "I've never been much of a rules man."
