In the 2nd inning the starting pitcher came out to the mound for his warm up pitches. He threw all of them, and then walked off the mound, saying he could not go. the coach then brought in another pitcher. The starting pitcher did not exit the ballgame. He stayed in to play center field. My question is how many pitches if any does the new pitcher get?
