Something new today

FED game. As the batter squared to bunt F4 and F6 sprinted toward the plate while F1 held onto the ball. Both fielders reached the plate area and stuck their gloves over the plate and pounded on their gloves with their throwing hands. Is there anything illegal here? What if they had made contact with the batter?
