How to Think Like an Umpire

My new book, How to Think Like an Umpire, is available at my website: Go to Carl’s Store, click the picture, and read all about the book. I promise you’ll look at the business of umpiring in a whole new light.

List price: $6.95.

It’s be up on Amazon.com in a couple of days. If you buy the book there, after you’re read it, please go back and post a review: good, bad, indifferent.
.
This is my 42nd book on the rules and mechanics of umpiring baseball, but this is the first where I’ve zeroed in on exactly what an umpire should think about before the game.

My usual guarantee: Buy the book. If you don’t like it, I’ll refund your money, and you can keep the book.

How To Think Like An Umpire

It's been 11 years since I umpired. Now that I'm retired I'm looking to go back to it especially since I now live in Florida. Just checking my equipment I have two books by Carl including Rule Differences and 51 Ways to Screw Up a Game! These may need a little updating.

I'd suggest "The Umpire's List of Lists." These two books should bring you up to date. Thanks for the plug about ruining a baseball game.
