I'm a soccer ref. I reffed catholic school 5-8th grade BB with no training in my youth -- well, other than reading the book (which actually made me better trained than many in that pool . . .). Oh, and I reffed one of my daughter's 6th grade games a few years ago when there wasn't one. I started lurking on here periodically, well on a predecessor site, after winning an argument about a rule in a pickup game years ago, but then wondering if I was right -- I wasn't
. Now I've lurked more as I was coaching my son in jr high and now he is playing in HS . . . and maybe when he's done I'll get into doing BB for real. Less running than soccer.
