Athletic director? Site director? Principal? Teacher? Baseball coach? Cheerleading coach? Custodian? Police officer in the corner? School nurse?

I don't believe that the NFHS addresses this issue in any manner.

Check your local listings to see if the state interscholastic sports governing body has any procedures in regard to this.

In Connecticut, one had to have a state issued coaching certificate, or be a certified teacher, or administrator, to coach. Certified teachers, or administrators need first aid, concussion, and CPR training.
