Pretty much all teams got 3 games in, albeit 5 inning games. So...for 2/3 or more of the teams in the tournament - over 200 teams - paid about $1000 for 15 innings of baseball. Whattayagonnado? This is the business they've chosen.
I don't think I would pay $1000 for 3 games in a tournament out of town, or in for that matter. $200k is a windfall, regardless of expenses.
