Ahh, how I'd love to be 18 again. But alas, I'm only 21. So old!
I started officiating at 16 when I was in high school and when I started college, I got into the chapter. My best advice is to find a mentor in your chapter and get to know them well. If they happen to be a "top dawg" in your chapter, that is nothing but gravy.
Go watch them work and ask questions. You'll learn a lot.
