agree Rich. I had this in one of my last games. The player makes a move from the trail's area. As it gets in closer, I see a violation when the ball gets on the players hip and he dribbles after. My partner is annoyed and asks, why did you call that, it was in my area. My response, was I had the angle, and there was no way he could have seen that the ball was wedged for a second on his hip. Don't be ball watching too much, respect the primary, but most importantly get the call right.
(ps- let's not get travel obsessed) why are more people doing that?
We need to stop thinking that the T is not well-positioned to see these kind of things. The L sometimes has the WORST view if the play is up high and with the ball going to the basket, what else is the T going to be looking at?

Id like to see video before judging your partner too harshly.
