There's little doubt that watching game films can be a significant, helpful and important training aide, but RARELY are they effective in determining wherther a specific was/wasn't or should've/shouldn't have been called.

The view from most camera angles and positioning and that of a game official at ground level are usually vastly different. Often the review and assessment of the camera's perspective provides advantages not available to the field official and not dicernable to the naked eye in a real time perspective but, ignores the close up interaction of the participants leading up to the actual contact.

I'm afraid the day that "official replay" finds it's way to the High School level will be a dark day BACKWARDS for the sport.
