You need to be realistic though. If the catcher has the ball when the umpire says "You're out" and then tosses it back and the batter-runner runs, let's not forget the disadvantage out put the defensive in. Sure, they could still throw the ball, but YOU said it wasn't required. So now you're going to guess that a batter-runner would be safe when the defense has the ball in the infield. Hmm
