Judging from your comments about college and your signature, I assume you are a younger umpire.
Many of us have discovered that there is a point of diminishing returns in regards to our performance and number of games in a week that we work. 15-20 games per week is beyond that point for, oh, about 99% of the umpire population.
While I will do a couple of tournaments a year that require four or five games per day, that is not the norm.
I will work about 120 games this year from mid march to the middle of September.
Ever hear the story of the old bull and the young bull?
They are standing on a hill overlooking a herd of cows. The young bull says, "Let's run down there and #^*& one of them sweet heifers."
The old bull replies, "No, let's walk down there and #^*& all of them."
