Orange-sleeves in baseball
We have seen orange-sleeves in football for many years signaling commercial breaks, when the commercials are done, etc. I was watching the Dodger preseason game the other day and I saw a guy in the dugout with a headset and multiple colored cards and wondered if this was MLB's version of orange-sleeves. Sure enough, reading MLB's web site tonight, this person is known as the 'Field Timing Coordinator' and now indicates to the umpires when the commercials are done.
