[Coach Bill]

Here's an incident that made me feel good:

I'm watching a freshman game (just a fan at this game), and the coach from the team I'm rooting against is whining all game. And, he was wrong every time. The officials are doing a good job of ignoring him.

Then, a play happened where he complained to the calling ref "how can you say he was shooting? He was at the foul line (slight exaggeration) when you blew the whistle".

I couldn't take it anymore. I said loud enough for the coach and the ref to hear, "Jeez! He clearly gathered and was going up". The ref gave me a nod, and said "What he said". I don't remember the coach complaining after that.
