Pulls down a movable ring so that it contacts the ball before the ring returns to its original position.
It doesn't sound as though A1 violated rules 4-6-2 or 4-6-3, which only deal with touching the ball, so the question is whether A1 violated either of the above. By your description it sounds as though A1 violated 4-6-1.
