Around here (NYS) you need at least 35 varsity games, two written recommendations from current college officials, an interview and a ton of free time for all the extra meetings, scrimmages, travel to and from games more remote than you would normally travel to for a HS game. An idea which position you want to work in college would help as well, figuring that you're not going to start at the R, most likely a downfield spot or a wing.
