My experience has been that Assignors purposely do that. Give you a game they won't think is too tough or contentious. Give you something to grow on. You have a lot on your mind and messing up in a tight, closely contested game, between large or rival schools need not be an added pressure.
Just like when I started with MS, F, and then JV games..... Then I worked my way up to a full VG schedule. Again, starting out with better schools against "not so much." I am still working my way up and now do a 50%
VB and VG schedule. If I stayed at this schedule I would have no complaints. I am not "there" yet and still have much to learn. It's a process. Coming up slowly did me good.
