Actually this is totally wrong. The BJ was in the only position honestly he was supposed to be as he has the end line. He did not need to be on top of the play at all and trips were set up to the other side of the field by the way.

Secondaly the SJ was also in proper position, because if a throw was near the GL or batted back the GL, he does not need to be closer either.

Football officials make calls from 10-20 yards away all the time and this was no exception. Angle over distance and the BJ can see if a player is on the end line from his position and probably could tell multple players would be there. And the SJ can see that play where he was as he was looking into the cluster of players.

Even in a 5 person game this was about the best positions you could have asked of these officials. And with 7 they have responsiblities to be in a position, not be somewhere that people think they should be based on personal feelings.
