IMHO, this is one of those fallacies that gets passed around because it sounds good. Many times (maybe not "most", but many), the C has a better look at drives down the paint than the Lead has. It's amazing how easy the block/charge call is when it goes right down the middle of the lane. The C is often the only one who has a
clear look
through the two players on those plays.
But because NCAA-M wants the L to have primary on anything coming to the basket, we keep up this belief that the L always has the best look. As always, JMHO.
