The official isn't going to call a travel just because it "looks bad". I had a game a few years ago in which coach A kept saying I should "call something" on B1 who was the other team's point guard because when he dribbled, his dribble "looked ugly". I told coach A that if "looking ugly" was against the rules, he wouldn't be allowed in the gym.
We were friends and he just laughed.
