I know a few weeks back someone asked what the most number of games people had done in one day.
I feel I have claim on the title. Starting at 1:30 on Saturday and ending shortly before midnight, I completed 8 straight games w/2 man crew. The kicker was the last game were the two best teams in the tournament. ( I think we counted 5 D1 players on the floor at tip, the rest were Jr) I am not sure where the miscommunication was between the organizer and the assignor, but the other 2 gyms were running 3 man crews or at least had a sub waiting. Needless to say I had a few words with our assignor. (Come to find out, one gym had 2 of our officials leave with 2 games left! They had done 3 in the morning and one that evening!)
Fortunately for me, my partner and I had worked a lot together so we had a good time and watched each others backs. We did not slack and I think the coaches appreciated that, in fact we were requested by 3 different brackets to do the Championship games the next day, we only did one. The tournament organizer we very nice and "took care" of us, so that was nice. It was a great set up outside the 12 games
