Whistle on all accounts.
- I have been taught if no shot attempt, just go with the stop clock signal (Open hand).
- If a shot attempt was NOT off before the buzzer to wave it off IMMEDIATELY.
- If a shot attempt was off in time and GOOD, give the "count it" signal after it goes in.
- If a shot attempt was off in time and NOT GOOD, stop clock signal (Open hand).
But I agree, this is a When in Madrid... situation
