I had something similar last night.

As A-1 is dribbling and moving next to the sideline, B-2 bumps A-1, and A-1 easily passes her by. Normally, I let this go, but the bump caused A-1 to violate by stepping on the sideline. Blocking, B-2.

The trick for me was controlling the instinct of raising an open palm -- a knee-jerk reaction when the ball-handler steps on the sideline -- and raising a closed fist instead. I'm not sure if I executed that smoothly.
