I think you are taking the comments a little out of context to make a point. I said there are some that do not want to hear their names and the guy in question did not want his name called on a missed rotation. That does not mean you should never use someone's name to communicate. And it certainly does not mean everyone gets upset by this either. Sometimes using someone's name is the only way they can know you are talking to them.
