Yup. I had a semi pro game last night and the guy pitching was in the Yankees system for a few years. B/R squared as R1 broke for second and the pitch sailed high - they claim he was hitting low 90s during the game - and the catcher never had a chance. The pitcher asked for the count and I said 1-1. He took two steps towards me and said, and I quote, "He never pulled the bat back!" Ugggh. Faded glory.

I used your quote to comment only that these were college age players. They should know the principle for determining a swing. Now, hopefully, one of the umpires from that game does too.
