A good point. Our local group had a discussion and one of the leaders, (an NCAA guy) said don't call an intetnional on the three point shot because it will penalize the offense, they only get two free throws.

I looked in the Rule Book under Penalties for fouls and you have to read #4 and then #5 also and put them together to realize they do mean for you to shoot 3 shots on the 3 point attempt if it is missed.

Then I read it in the Case book and it clarifies.

IS this any different in NCAA or others for them to make this mistake or did they just overlook?
