As to the question of why work so many asked by Ron, because I earn a living doing it.
So as a result I worked nearly 100 games this January, and I am on a similar pace this month. (shorter month) I work 7 days a week this time of year.
You have heard the expression "make hay while the sun shines" Other seasons do not offer quite the number of games. I need to make enough money to get through the lean times(and pay for the summer camps
)
And yes, this does probably hurt my endurance for the "big" school games, but I am in good shape, so far...
Even with this number of games, I find myself enjoying the vast majority of games, and that's why I do this. I could (and have) made more money in a conventional occupation.
If I could make more money doing less games, yes that would be good, but this is what is currently available to me.
