Mick,in your defense,you probably ended U.P. doing everything right(even if you did it by mistake

-While White was dawdling,Blue was also still in their TO huddle-so you were right to put the ball on the floor for Blues's actual delay.The procedure was OK by rule.
-After a TO,you are also supposed to blow your whistle and say "defense ready".Therefore,hollering "White" after Blue picked up the ball is proper procedure,also.
