When a coach does not know when to pick their spots, either ignore them or address their behavior.

All these lines are great and work well I am sure for the officials that use them, but I have found that most of them do not work universally. Work within your personality. If being a hard *** works use that. If being a soft spoken guy works, use that. If saying nothing works, use that. All situations are not the same and all coaches will not respond the same. And some of this only works because you have a reputation that a coach will respect. Nothing works all the time or some of the time. It is something you will constantly have to work on and figure out what works for you.

Peace
