Just FYI, it would be enforced from the EOR under NCAA rules also.
I would have a difficult time with a defensive hold that occurred 5 yards beyond the LOS. Defensive holds are usually on play at the LOS when a defensive lineman holds an offensive lineman who is doing a scrape block and trying to get to the linebacker for that 2nd block. Can you think of a reason for a defensive hold 5 yards beyond the LOS? I think I would be having a discussion with the calling official to see what exactly happened.
