Agree...no violation.
You can catch a throw-in while airborne and land anywhere (except out of bounds, of course!)
Player must already be on the floor with front-court status (which can occur with one foot only) before (s)he catches the ball for there to be violation potential.
I believe with FIBA rules, it would be a violation, but I'm not 100% sure.
