And I am pretty sure that most of you get this right. However, I have yet to see the ref award a baseline inbounds when the ball is touched in the lane in the backcourt. And never really means never, and this is coaching 80-100 games the past couple of years, all at MS level travel ball. I always see the ref walking back and pointing to half court, even when the ball gets touched by the baseline. That's a huge difference in my eyes - difference between an instant bucket and setting up your offense.

This is one of the most common misperceptions that I know of among refs.
