Why shouldn't a pitcher be allowed to wear sunglasses? How is a pitcher different then other fielders?

When the pitcher is on the rubber, the rules dictate his body movements not his eyes. (i.e. the rules dictate, stepping to a base prior to releasing the ball, movement of his feet to step off the rubber, etc) No where do I see anything with regards to his eyes.

I think the rulebook is fairly clear that no one other then the first baseman can use a "first baseman's" glove.
