Was the player ejected? or DQ'ed for fouls accumulated?

I'm assuming the reporter got the semantics wrong. The ball was definitely alive and it was a contact foul, so it would be difficult to classify as a technical. Intentional, perhaps flagrant contact foul--maybe.

If the player was ejected it must have been ruled flagrant, which a guy sipping a cup of coffee while sitting comfortably at his keyboard in NC with no "feel" for the game really didn't perceive.

Interesting that it made the news.
