This a change for 2009. When the rule changed a couple of years ago, live ball fouls occurring during a scoring play could carry over to the subsequent kickoff. Deadball fouls and unsportsmanlike could not, they had to assessed on the try or declined. The change this year allows those fouls to also carry over to the subsequent kickoff/succeeding spot.
