WRONG.
I mean, it wasn't even close. Hell, there was a runner would have been beheaded, or at least suffered a mildly bruised calf, if it had been foul.

This pops up ALL the time in slow-pitch rec leagues. Unbelieveable how many people are ignorant of the rule.
