The big problem I do see with too many variations is the expense and never knowing what the heck uniform to bring. I had that problem in little ball, had to bring 5 different shirts.. and somewhat in men's NAFA ball. You never know what your partner remembered to bring. At least in ASA that is not an issue. It would be a big problem at a tournament if too many uniforms were allowed.
But they still looked sharp and professional last night (tennis shoes behind the plate aside
). Ive liked the direction NCAA ball is headed in for the past few years. They are doing well mechanics, training, and appearance.
