To make this a little more generic...the 10 second count starts when their is team control of a ball in that is in the backcourt. Doesn't necessarily have to be player control in the backcourt.

Yes, but on this play, Rut gets one right. The count doesn't start until A possesses the ball in the BC because there was not team control on the throw-in.
