In a 2 person game with 3 seconds left, if I'm the lead, I'm going to be closer to the free throw line extended or around where the 28 foot line was (is) rather than the division line. With or without a good angle, I want to be closer to where a good shot can be taken. Division line shots are so low percentage, any foul has just got to be very obvious.
