I've done that before - years & years ago. I forget the cimcumstances though. It was a youth league game, IIRC.

It both teams are chirping a lot, and you want to penalize it, it does seem a little unfair to T one team up and not the other, when the first T can serve as a warning for the non-T'd team. However, at this point, it is usually because an official didn't take care of earlier business - whether blowing his whistle or not.

If it's at all possible, perhaps a simultaneous unsporting T can be used?
